7.3 Managing animation timing

You might want to make changes to the timing and speed of your

animations in Blender after evaluating a project. To make such

adjustments, you have to move keyframes back and forward for timing

adjustments.

For instance, if you take the animation created in section 7.2, we can

perform timing adjustments straight in the Timeline Editor. There you can

select each keyframe, and with the G key moves them around.

By making two keyframes closer to each other, you make any animation

faster. If you increase the distance between them, a slower animation is

the outcome (Figure 7.14).

To manipulate keyframes in the Timeline or any other editor in Blender,

use the same selection keys and transformations from 3D modeling

projects.
